I have a10$ amazon.com gift card, which I did not check while buying since I am an Indian so I needed an Amazon Pay gift card code (which works for amazon.in) and now it's locked into my account. I really want to unfreeze, it any ideas on that?

To me, the main idea of punk was do-it-yourself, which meant that you could basically do anything that you would wanna do. You don't have to wait to be allowed to do it. Anarchy was more or less about the same thing, so for me they were closely related.

Wondering if prompt engineers will swallow software engineers, or if software engineers will swallow prompt engineers.
Asking because I just asked the agent in Cursor to implement DnD support for my wallets, and it did a decent job. I just had to tell it a few times to make the code suck less.

Because we (software engineers) are much better at providing the necessary context (both technical and business) to LLMs. We are also much better at breaking problems in smaller sequential steps because we (sort of) understand how the machine works

have any of you met someone whose title was prompt engineer?
i never met one, or looked at a job posting, but when people told me about it I assumed that they were still programmers but their task was to optimize prompt inputs to LLMs, which itself can be an iterative optimization process

I took the train to Fujisawa while reading The Man Without Qualities and day dreaming. Had lunch at D’s then wandered around the second hand store looking at the junk bins but just couldn't get into the mind of what it all means to have a fetish for objects like this.
What am I doing? Chasing dasein is tough work. I have had to get used to modern comforts. They are not something I grew up with in NZ.
