disclaimer all right, so i'm taking a page out of some of your books and adding to the growing number of daily threads here (of which, we have some good ones):
to my knowledge, while it seems there are many creators here on SN, i don't believe this one has been done yet. in any case, it has not yet been done here in ~the_stacker_muse, and i am fond of the idea of territory specific, vibe-oriented hangouts. so let's do this.
here goes:

WELCOME

to Daily Musings: A Creativity Journal

a goal of mine, as for now, is to write creatively, every day.
today i synthesized this with a mission i set out on yesterday, thinking i might be able to poach some of the more literary thinking redditers, but this didn't last long and i had to shelve the ambition after becoming a not a bit discouraged and annoyed.
i'd no sooner made an account and logged into reddit than i started to find the layout annoyingly complex (as i've found many websites. have i gotten too comfortable with the relative simplicity of the SN -- or should everyone just fucking use html?); not to mention the fact they are demanding i jump through this or that loophole such as commenting twice before making my own post... yadda-yadda -- and, into the bargain, they don't seem to approve of my vpn. so i gave up. i may try this again another day.
in any case, here is what i'd intended to post. it is cheeky and shameless, which i thought would be fitting for a passerby on the platform:
so there is this place where value is curated by creators, or otherwise created by curators, and observers, sometimes passive consumers, sometimes themselves writers, designers, thinkers and doers, actively acknowledge each other, with little zaps sent through the ether, to pay homage--no, tribute--no, to pay one another in the true, hard-earned, currency of respect. these zaps represent something, better than gold, truly, that is something to behold. -- don't believe me, go on, zap and be zapped, in ~the_stacker_muse

so what are you creating this fine Saturday?
i'm imagining burgeoning gardens, delicious home-cooked meals, lazy, meandering afternoon conversations, zines, paintings, cottage-crafts, memories...
what are you creating?
this territory is moderated
Thanks for drawing this to my attention. I didn’t even know you had set up a territory.
I agree that those zaps represent more than currency! I attribute a little of my self-worth to them
It’s Sunday, and I’m still struggling to get my two kids to have their breakfast. Hopefully I will have time to read and research and continue to work on an article titled “30 things Sensei wants to do in Japan #3”

thanks for giving it your attention.
breakfast can certainly be a creative time a day, especially with your added challenge.
im not a parent, but I can appreciate the work involved. happy Sunday and godspeed man.
edit: i bet the kids can provide some creative fuel, if you let them

Way more boring than anything you listed ...
I'm making logos for the few wallets we don't have logos for in the upcoming release.
I also organized our fridge as I'm the better organized half of our life pair.

as I'm the better organized half of our life pair.
i suffer the same fate.
have you pulped any onions for meatballs lately? (oh, no! that sounds strange out of context doesn't it?)
i think about that each time i stand in my kitchen tearing up over my dollar-store cheese-grater and seive, shredding onions by hand to mix into ground beef. that was a fun post.

I have not pulped any onions recently. I haven't made koobideh burgers, which is what I usually do the result, in a minute.
Hand grating is hardcore! I found using a food processor too cumbersome even.

Food processors are cumbersome. I've tried both ways, but as it turns out, I hate getting it out and having to clean it even more than I hate hand-grating.

You're right. It's not so much the labor of the food processor, it's the cleaning.

there is definitely a sweet-spot for kitchen appliances in terms of (a) how much energy it saves me and (b) how unwieldy and complex they are.
i also have an espresso maker that is middle-tier. it makes a pretty killer brew, but the hassle of filling the water tank, waiting for it to heat up and then cleaning it after is enough for me to just settle for drip coffee.

Did some final (well, hopefully final) edits on the book that I'm working on. A quick yoga/calisthenics session (yes, I consider my whole being a work of art). Hopefully I'll also be able to make a quick update regarding a new feature on my website and perhaps still make some music as well.

fantastic! i hope to hear more about your forthcoming book. i keep an eye out for it!
