THE BEST UNDER 400 weekly writing contest

going forward id like to incentivize stackers to exercise their creativity here. this will be a competition for who writes the best under-400-words composition in my territory.

entries can be anything (creative pieces, [photo-] essays, memoirs) so long as it be:

under 400 words

based on the prompt

the reward shall go the the top post, decided by by zaprank for the week around 12pm eastern every tuesday. it willl be 4000 sats plus 10%¹of the weekly territory revenue.

Love to see competitions like this! I was already on an idea, and it may just work for the prompt. Also, I like that you are giving it a shorter word limit. Excited to see what people post!

i know its not a new idea by any means for sn. ~BooksAndArticles was onto way before me. but it seems to have dropped off. maybe there wasnt much interest.

my experience with doing the Word-of-Mouth Wednesday for the last months and half is that you have to remind people A LOT. They might be interest, but it's competing with all the other stuff out there, and it's so easy to forget about things. You got to find a fun way to keep your contest in front of people.
