So....
In the NFL, a drafted player cannot be traded until their rookie contract is signed. Once the contract is signed, the player can be traded at any point, with the exception of the in-season trade deadline.
I dont see the Bengals letting that happen but at the same time I think it would be insane for them to not sign him. Nonetheless the Bengals are making it very hard for players to want to play for them with how they are handling both the draft and player extension.
Interesting.

I was a little surprised when I read this but it seems like this was done to prevent another Eli Manning lol

The league will probably blackball him to make an example

Honestly I dont see how they could. It would be way to clear unless he gets in trouble and even then the NFL is quick to overlook those types of things....

Colorado didnt play huge schools. Nebraska who was there "big" outside the Big 12 school they lost to. Plus his attitude and his dad was a known issue. Stewart doesnt have those issues, played and thrived in the SEC and against Power 5 conference games plus just wants to sign the contract everyone else is signing

He would never fall to the second round lol looking at the edge rushing prospects for next year.... it isnt nearly as deep as it was this year. The Texans love defensive players this year was a rare example of them not drafting one in the first two rounds. He was known to be near the top of their board with Walter Nolan so when they were gone the Texans just traded back a few picks into the second round.
