@ek @sox it's happening again where I get push notifications for subscribed territories, but then those posts don't show up in my notifications page :( This time for ~bitcoin_Mining, not ~security

Feels like I've somehow lost territory subscriptions, or they're not being returned correctly in the API calls

Back then we found out that this could be the culprit! Did you change it?

edit: oh wait, ~bitcoin_Mining has a post cost of 21, then if you didn't change the value at all the post would show anyway, hmm...

watched a movie for the first time in months, and to my surprise and delight, it was very nice #1080191

Your review made me want to watch it, which is something nice. I'll agree, though, that the title is a bummer.

Google takes 8% stake in Bitcoin miner TeraWulf as part of a $3.7B deal.

First they “accidentally” ban unlicensed wallets… Half an hour later they unban them. 12 hours later they take an 8% stake in a Bitcoin miner.

Why are we even bothering to think about the CIA Google? Aren’t they just a front for InQTel the intelligence agencies, just illegally spying on you?

Google did finally update their policy doc:

Now it has this fun little note:

Other than that note, I can't find anything in their docs that says non-custodial is acceptable.

Synthesis and Transformation is a notoriously tough section for my students. To help them revise their Science, I came up with questions that would get them to apply their combination skills while revising Science facts. Consider these gems like:

My car tyre has patterns to reduce friction with the ground. My wheelchair wheel has patterns to reduce friction with the ground too.

Both my ____.

I’m happy to express my creativity by initiating interdisciplinary learning.

Bitcoin has fees both on chain and via lightning.

The infrastructure when battle tested fees explode to the upside.

We still have a long way to go to put compete the fiat 3% fee

But settlement is where Bitcoin wins hands down. Cuts out the middle men

reply

You accept and use Bitcoin TO FUCK THE BANKS AND GOVS, not to compete with banks fees...

I mean, there is no other third party trying to steal money from you. 👀

and Bitcoin wins for sure, in many different ways!

reply

The miners and node runners charge you a fee to confirm and route your transactions

Plus the network can’t handle the billions of transactions that happen every day. The chain was under heavy stress during the ordinals craze.

Once the masses are on chain then we will truly see if your statement remains the same

a. I share this to encourage small business owners to accept Bitcoin payments.

Plus the network can’t handle the billions of transactions that happen every day.

that's why lightning is here.

b. I don't understand if you're so negative about Bitcoin why are you here?

reply
