If you're a certain age and grew up in the US, this recording is ingrained in your head. It was used for the opening of a very popular sitcom called Happy Days.
I'm not a huge 50s fan, but there's some good stuff. I love old acoustic blues, like this guy:

Wow! All these old singer amaze me on one point the most and that's their spontaneity while singing. They are always so effortless.
Why not you share your top 10 favourites from each decade/era on SN? Now the search is good so for us it'd be a treat to find and listen the best retro music here.

I like Billy Strings but I mostly prefer the calmness of classics over him. However I never reject solo artists but among groups/bands, I have preference. for example I like The Dead South more than any other band in modern times.
