FBI agents raided the Maryland home of John Bolton, the former national security advisor to President Donald Trump.

The raid is part of a “national security investigation in search of classified records,” a person familiar with the matter told NBC News.

Bolton has become a staunch critic of Trump, who called him “stupid” recently after criticizing the president’s meeting on the Ukraine war with Russia’s leader, Vladimir Putin.
