Look, I get this is obviously meant for Bitcoin/crypto, but I was wondering, can I talk about subjects that aren't related to Bitcoin. Obviously not controversial debates/subjects but innocent simple subjects such as food, and other personal preferences and stuff like that. Like for example, what's your favourite food and why? Or what's your opinion on [insert non controversial subject here.] I really want to hear some feedback.

I believe the rules allow you to talk about whatever you want. If others have no interest in your post you will be ignored.

Thanks a lot. I will still talk about stuff that are actually related to Bitcoin but now and then I will discuss about subjects that are not really related to Bitcoin (obviously good non-innapropiate subjects)

AFAIK this is a Bitcoin based space and Bitcoiners are interested in Bitcoin AND other stuff too .... so please post whatever you feel like and its either we love it and interact or we dont.
I'd love to see controversial stuff that stimulate our brain outside of the eco chamber
Side note: Shitcoins arent controversial here as the vast majority deem them as shitcoins which is what they are :)

I wont really mention Shitcoins as much but when I mean controversial stuff, I mean REALLY controverisal stuff like gender politics and debating about religion because this is NOT the place to discuss those things. That is what I mean

Agree with the sentiment in the comments. Feel free to talk about other stuff, but most of us are on here for high signal bitcoin or bitcoin adjacent content (at least until we have subs), and other stuff might be not get much attention.

It feels really nice actually spending some sats just to like comments, and it going directly to the commenter. As much as I like stacking I'd rather spend it on stuff like this for now rather than a, God forbid, coffee at Starbucks.

Anything goes on there, but the rest of the site tends to be focused on Bitcoin related topics.

What makes me really excited is that my first real use case for spending some sats is starting in places like this. All media focus on "huge retailers like Walmart haven't adopted it yet" is such trash.
This is what it was meant for. Users sending what they perceive as valuable, and at the very least transports value, to each other directly. For something as simple as asking if they can talk about something other than Bitcoin. Is so cool.
I could give a shit about institutions and huge retailers getting in early, or honestly even "number go up" at this point. There's such a behemoth orange eyed monster staring at me at this point that even as much as I want to pretend this isn't possible and I'm the fool for thinking it's real, I can't unsee it.
Anyway. What is your favorite food out of curiosity?

у меня авто переводчик стоит для текста. но еще пока что нет для аудио и видео формата! думаю что сделать и использовать за подписку в месяц 100 сатоши будет привосходно!
