Agree on this, but don't take the "Channel Duration" in swap too serious, there is no real contract and it's not write in stone.

So, as someone as mentioned, the best way to grow your capacity twice as fast is to go to lightningnetwork.plus and join/create triangles (you'll increase capacity twice as fast as for each channel you open, one will be opened to you).

lightning terminal was helpful to me if you are running LND. i think liquidity ads is the equivalent for core lightning: https://blog.blockstream.com/setting-up-liquidity-ads-in-c-lightning/ but haven't used liquidity ads
