Is because SN is not using Bitcoin time zone but Texas time zone. Bitcoiners should adapt to use BTC time and not any other time zone.

Not sure. The time decay on posts staying on top of Hot could be adjusted for time zone.... like things posted in the dead of night in U.S. time zones could be allowed to stay Hot for longer. It still wouldn't be conducive to real-time interactions, but at least people posting from overseas will get some more engagement, hopefully.

I go to sleep at midnight which is 5 pm in America/SN time (-7), and wake up at 8:30am (1:30am). I think that posts would still be in the hot feed by the time I wake up.

This is something that has been debated by social media platforms since forever, I think that major platforms have a catch-up algorithm for things in the home page, but it's kind of horrendous. We'd need to be really clever to not make this suck!

hmmmm thinking about making another natural (essential oil) perfume. i definitely want rosemary in it, which is a green scent family, middle note in most cases, so I need to find base and top notes. i suspect i'll go with something citrus or in the fruity scent family for the top note which makes the base note the biggest mystery.

Perfume making the way I do isn't much of a skill. You mix fragrances with a carrier (oil or alcohol) and that's it. I don't like complex scents and complex scents are where most of the skill would factor in.

It has been some time. I have since met both @k00b and @car in person, though briefly on those two independent occasions. As we approach the end of summer I hope I approach the beginning of a new chapter in my career. One way or another there will be change, though I expect to remain in the yachting industry for the foreseeable future.
