@siggy47 did you mean replies like this one from me with “articulate, persuasive personality”?
Good example. BTW, the fact that no one could read @Undisciplined's link kind of proves the point.

We also fucked up though
@Undisciplined posted a Primal link, but we convert it to an njump link to embed it like twitter links but njump is down failing to load notes.
We should show the original link in that case. @sox is fixing it (even though this wasn’t his mistake).

this should do the job

looks good, thank you!

From now on if I'm on primal I can just share a note? Usually if I'm scrolling on primal I'll jump to amethyst to grab an njump. BTW, primal probably has a way to grab an njump link, right? I just never know which one to use.

You can do that already! Just paste the link, we'll do the work for you.

Thanks for telling me! A while back, maybe almost a year ago, I posted a primal link here and some stackers couldn't read it?

Oh, actually, it's still the case for 'Reads':
Maybe it was only ever the case for them. When I click on 'copy note link', I get the link above, but when I click 'copy note id', I get the nostr id. We need the nostr id, not some Primal-specific id.
I found this out because I looked up my old issue regarding it.
I remember when they used to not include nostr event ids in their links but database ids like SN has for items. So instead of
https://primal.net/e/nevent...
it used to be https://primal.net/e/70124
.We had no way to figure out which nostr event it was because only they know how to map their ids to nostr event ids; so no way for us to embed nostr content from Primal links.
Now they are least no longer revealing their centralized architecture in their links, lol.
But the link should have been clickable, so stackers should have been able to read it.
