#bitcoin for yall pleb one

Here is another reminder of our fortnightly appointment, to spark creativity, to brainstorm ideas and bring our projects forward. Similar to the Stacker Saloon, it will stay pinned in the ~Design territory hot section for two weeks, recursively, giving us time to discuss and provide feedback to stackers's projects.
Whatever you are thinking about... A new app? Book? Review your apartment furniture setup following feng shui? Upgrading office with DIY sound-proof dividers? 3D print something for your miner? Redesign your garden yard? What else?
Share it in the pinned post, What creative ideas have you been rambling on?
₿e Creative, have Fun!

I rode my bicycle to the grocery store today and on the way home I came across someone's junk scattered all over the road. Looked like a weird antenna and thick metal mounting brackets. Definite hazard to motorists. Got off my bike and waited for the road to clear before I threw the junk off to the side in the dirt.
I figured I got everything so I was about to get back on my bike. A dump truck zoomed past. An old woman walking on the sidewalk saw what I was doing and picked up some more brackets that I didn't notice. She asked what happened and I said, "I don't know." She said she was worried that the dump truck was going to run over the bracket and cause it to hit her. I said something about making it safe.
I found a manual for the antenna and I put the stuff on top as a paperweight. She asked if there was anything else and I said, "I think that's it." and then I nodded and zoomed off.
Maybe it was a thing that fell off someone's truckbed. Maybe they'll come back for it. Feels really good to do good deeds like this.
My winter gloves wore out so I bought new ones. The new ones are waterproof and I hate them because they trap in sweat and stay wet for days 😡
Note to self, don't buy waterproof gloves
nothing beats a pair of thick wool gloves. I like the ones with the fingertips cut off and a little pocket sewn on top that you can flip down if it's really cold. best gloves in the world.
burps loudly
When you have many little things to do, I'm not sure there's much sense in prioritizing them.
Yeah. Just do. But if you have a personal preference, I would advise you to do the things you don't like first. Apparently that builds willpower (check out the Huberman x Goggins pod for further details on that), plus, doing the things that you do like can then be almost like a reward.
I agree on just do. I'm split on starting with the hard stuff first though. You can build momentum if you start on the easy stuff.
Good point. Momentum is a powerful tool as well.
My 10,000th item!
Why I celebrate in base 10, I don't know.
I'm celebrating a million spend.
woah. 10k is pretty impressive.
hmm, your 3.2 million stacked with 6,000 items is even more impressive!
👀
"Mandatory Update"?
I notify your internet provider that you will be downloading all of human history today.
Yes, because it's the first time I started the game and it had to download all the content first
Do you sometimes look in the mirror and ask yourself who this person is?
Then you switch the eye you’re looking at and try to catch the movement of your eyes, essentially trying to perceive faster than the speed of light.
And then you’re like, "Ahh, that’s the kind of person I am."
Shadow can move faster than light, I think
yes
Damn, I thought I was special
I get close to look at my eyeballs and see what it looks like when im staring off into the distance
I try to find my own recursive reflection in my eyes.
I think the cutest thing I ever did to a girl was to look so deep in her eyes that I could see my own eyes, and then I adjusted my hair, using her eyes as a mirror.
Been unemployed for a while, discouraged. Starting to apply again.
Unemployed? Do you mean free?
It take a while to be comfortable not being a fiat slave
Finding a way to get paid privately in sats is much more satisfying
I still need income and I want to work and be useful, however the pay is denominated. I’d still buy Bitcoin even if I was paid in dollars.
What are you doing, or what are you willing to do, to place your skills at the service of the bitcoin community?
At my current knowledge / skill level I don’t think I’m at the cutting edge of bitcoin knowledge by any means. More work / studying to be done. All I was saying is that though I am interested in Bitcoin, Im trying not to think so rigidly about work opportunities
Is the bitcoin community the center of the world?
Not necessarily. Do you know any other community that use bitcoin as a medium of exchange?

How the Government Manufactured COVID Consent with John CarpayHow the Government Manufactured COVID Consent with John Carpay
In Manufacturing consent: Government behavioural engineering of Canadians, the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) exposes the Impact and Innovation Unit, the Canadian government’s behavioural psychology office. Joining us today to talk about how this little-known unit helped shape Canada’s perception of the scamdemic is JCCF president John Carpay.

Prior to today, I didn’t even know that KidsStop existed within the Science Centre. Well, TIL.
A 2-hour stint cost each kid $10 and each accompanying adult $5. I guess it was value for money because the kids got a goodie bag that comprised a washable paint kit and free Calibee snacks.
Of course, no one travels to the West to buy a goodie bag. I must say that I was awed by the variety of interactive exhibits. My systematic mind didn’t wonder why the authorities didn’t work harder to ensure a seamless flow of ideas throughout the stations. You literally came out of a typhoon simulator to learn about nutrition at a supermarket. The ant installation was located next to a farm. And wasn’t there a dinosaur digging site? WHERE ARE THE LINKS? My teacherly mind screamed.
But if I were to suspend cohesiveness, I thought the exhibits were awesome in getting children to experience various Scientific concepts. Pedal and move your leg muscles to obtain wind energy. Pedal on another bike and see how your movements are mimicked by a skeleton. Throw balls into a vertical conveyor belt and learn that they gain gravitational potential energy in the process. Pull and push handles to learn how ants pass food from their crop (social stomach) to one another.
I left 30 minutes earlier because the daughter needed her afternoon nap. I can foresee myself returning in the near future.
The icing on the cake was the collaboration between @nlbsingapore
and @sciencecentresg. I took the detachable cut-out worksheets aimed to teach young minds the concept of air resistance. I can use it to teach my boy about changed variables and fair test. I still cannot believe that teachers have to teach that to Primary 3 pupils nowadays!
