Re: CLOSURE OF YOUR MOON VISA PREPAID CARD – ACTION REQUIRED
Hello,
We’re writing to let you know that Moon will stop selling Moon Visa® Prepaid Cards on February 15th, 2023, due to the scheduled termination of our contract with the card’s Issuing Bank.
All cards, regardless of expiration date, will be terminated on March 15th, 2023. You are receiving this email because you have purchased a card that will terminate before the expiration date on the card.
We will be expanding our product and service suite in the coming weeks, and will share details soon.
Here’s what you need to know about Moon Visa Prepaid Cards:
Existing cards will continue to function as normal through March 15, 2023 No additional cards will be available for purchase after February 15, 2023 All cards, regardless of expiration date, will be terminated on March 15th, 2023, meaning you will no longer be able to make transactions with cards Merchant returns made to cards after March 15, 2023 may not be deliverable. We recommend returns be handled directly with merchants after this date Customer support for cards will be provided through March 30, 2023 Accounts in good standing may request a refund for any unspent amount on cards by following the instructions at the bottom of this email
What happened?
In the aftermath of FTX, Luna/Terra, Voyager, and other high profile crypto-related news, many financial institutions are reducing their potential exposure to digital currencies and related products. We are confident that we can continue to serve our customers with high value offerings amidst this shift in approach and are excited to share updates in the near future.
What's next for Moon?
Moon is not going anywhere. We are committed to privacy, financial freedom and the values of the bitcoin community. In that spirit, we are working to bring a new and improved Moon Visa Prepaid Card to the market as soon as possible. Moon will also be expanding our offering into new areas in the coming weeks. Please stay tuned for updates on upcoming product launches.
How do I get a refund for the unspent amount on a Moon Visa Prepaid Card?

This is really unfortunate. The crack down seems to be getting worse and worse. I guess it's the time to rip the bandaid off, but for expenses I need to pay in fiat, especially anonymously online, this significantly hurts me.

Non-fragile solutions grow stronger when challenged.
It's a pity, I used it a lot, mostly for short term subscriptions to services I wanted to give a trial. Their loss too.

Oh this is a good idea never thought of that!

I warned you guys all the time: those VISA cards are not your "friend". Use only Bitcoin, damn it, don't go back to fiat.

I was looking for an old thread but I could not find it. Has any bitcoiner successfully defeated or fooled the IRS? They took down Al Capone for not paying taxes, and he had the single highest single year income in history, adjusted for inflation.
reply
The whole point is not to "avoid taxes", but to rebut any authority over your labor and yourself.
A citizen MUST pay his taxes, because he's an employee of the state, the corporation. A sovereign individual do not have to pay any taxes, because he's NOT an employee or part of that corporation.
Ot's all about where YOU positioned yourself
