I think I need to double my SNL prep time and start writing about the things we're discussing. It's hard for me to patch my many knowledge gaps live and try to identify what's worth mentioning and recall what I read, even if I've read them a second time recently.

I've met her, Amir, and their crew / sympathizers multiple times now. These people have a different view of the world than, say, your average Spark-pushing semishitcoiner. It's worth talking to them. Not to try and get them into the fold, but because they are so radically different from most people you know that you have an opportunity to learn.
