Not interested in Kyler but potentially interested in Geno or a reunion with Kirk Cousins. Really?
What are you guys doing @Public_N_M_E?

It’s insane that they’re already giving up on their draft pick. I know he isn’t doing super well. But he also missed the entire first season, and much of the second with injuries. Maybe they aren’t giving up, and just want someone else to help him develop
If it's someone like Cousins or Carr and they make it clear that part of the deal is mentoring JJ, they could take advantage of their roster talent and develop their young QB.
Definitely possible. Needs to be handled correctly for sure
I think either of them would sign up for one last chance to win a Super Bowl while mentoring a young guy.
Vikings aren't winning a SB with those guys. They are good but they are probalby the worst team in their division.
Even if they’re the worst in their division, if the other 3 are strong among the NFC, they just need to edge out one of them (theoretically), similar to how the NFC West had 3 playoff teams this year.
I would not be surprised if Detroit takes another step back next year. They need some leadership changes or revamping. Green Bay feels like they could be good or bad, depending on injuries and critical play calling. I expect Chicago to remain pretty good
No one expected either the Pats or the Seahawks to be in the Super Bowl this year.
Amazing the Falcons gave Cousins such a giant $160M 4 year deal
Benched in year 1!
2 years left
I agree, but I think those guys might believe they could win a Super Bowl there and no other plausible contender needs a QB. At least for Carr, the alternative is waiting on an injury to one of the top QBs.
They should have just kept Darnold and let McCarthy sit another year.
Hindsight 20/20, but yes, absolutely
I get why they moved off Darnold. He blew the last two games of the year but they should have at least brought in a capable veteran.
I do, too. Pretty much the whole league believed he had reached his ceiling. And maybe he had, but Seattle was able to do more with it than Minnesota was
Purely stats wise Darnold had a better year in Minnesota than in Seattle. He did lead the league in turnovers this year but clearly the Seahawks were able to get him over the big game yips and give him enough support that he didn't need to be the star to win games.
It also says something that they let their GM go
He is back with the 49ers.
Darnold was the capable veteran
Tua?
LOLOLOLOL
You laugh be Kevin might be able to
Coach Tua up!
Kirk cousins 2.0
Bringing in a veteran to push McCarthy makes sense — competition can only help him grow. Curious who they’ll target.
Kirk Cousins 2.0
I even heard some Carr speculation.

I thought KOC was the QB whisperer. Turns out it was Shanahan and Purdy that fixed Darnold.
