This was in response to the AI claiming climate change is a significant threat to human well being and i asked if it was aware that we are on the cusp of world war 3 and 4 to which it responded that it had been cutoff from new knowledge since 2021. I very much doubt thats true. 50 year olds are dependable and larger and larger portions of the people coming into the job market today are pathetic. But thats the trend. They cant even show up on time or at all. They just cant. You would be surprised how bad it is.

Depends. If you are just running a private node, then not really. But if you want to be a well connected routing node, then you should have a good knowledge about it.

Yup, you either need to automate channel management yourself or have a node that is only meant for your own personal use without other people frequently routing through it (high fees and limited number of big channels)
