One thing that occured to me after the post. If it was suicide, it would be difficult to have your remains disappear.
I don't know. It seems easier to pull off a suicide and have your remains disappear (hike somewhere remote) than remaining disappeared when you're alive. Maybe I overestimate how hard it is to disappear.
