That would be a good outcome. I don't think that impairs Bitcoin's proposition as a digital store of value and monetary network but we might have to rethink out 100T market cap ideas if that were to occur.

Bitcoin is the cure for the disease of war, because it cannot be inflated to covertly fund the resource burn that is warfare. A bitcoin standard would force governments to use diplomacy, though, ending drug prohibition would be almost as important because while armies are funded with inflation, spooks are funded with violence, theft and fraud.
