And the second "explainer" is a bit more funny. It's a Rizful gift card. Very simple to understand, and clearly shows the user that the gift card is denominated in something called "Satoshis"... which are a fraction of a Bitcoin!

BTW.. as of right now, nobody has claimed this card, you can claim it to test it out ;)

Oh wow, I wish I had seen this about a month ago. I had a couple of family weddings and I gave sats for them, but this would have been a much better way to do it!

We just launched these gift cards a couple days ago. And -- they're not physical (although you could print them).... they're just PNG images!

Printing is great. I ended up hand writing a seed phrase for the giftee. Which also has its charm, but this would have been a better way to do it.

Actually that was our first idea, but the practicality and security aspects of actually printing and distribution real cards.... the more we thought about it, the less attractive that got...

Those of us who are passionate about Bitcoin want to educate "normies" about all kinds of things: "sound money", "uncensorable", "freedom tech"....

BUT -- most people are totally not ready for that. They've got much more basic questions like: "How can I own less than one Bitcoin?"

I suggest we back up and focus on very basic questions like this.

How do we teach people that Bitcoin is divisible into 100,000,000 satoshi, per BTC?

We have an idea.
