And the second "explainer" is a bit more funny. It's a Rizful gift card. Very simple to understand, and clearly shows the user that the gift card is denominated in something called "Satoshis"... which are a fraction of a Bitcoin!
BTW.. as of right now, nobody has claimed this card, you can claim it to test it out ;)
This is a really neat site and service. I signed up! I'll be adding it as a resource to my Bitcoin Education Archive app (and Discord) https://btcedu.app
Oh wow, I wish I had seen this about a month ago. I had a couple of family weddings and I gave sats for them, but this would have been a much better way to do it!
Actually that was our first idea, but the practicality and security aspects of actually printing and distribution real cards.... the more we thought about it, the less attractive that got...

We just launched these gift cards a couple days ago. And -- they're not physical (although you could print them).... they're just PNG images!
Printing is great. I ended up hand writing a seed phrase for the giftee. Which also has its charm, but this would have been a better way to do it.
I'd love to be able to hand out real, physical gift cards like this, complete with scratch-off code and everything!

Those of us who are passionate about Bitcoin want to educate "normies" about all kinds of things: "sound money", "uncensorable", "freedom tech"....
BUT -- most people are totally not ready for that. They've got much more basic questions like: "How can I own less than one Bitcoin?"

How do we teach people that Bitcoin is divisible into 100,000,000 satoshi, per BTC?
We have an idea.
We are vastly overestimating how much people actually know about Bitcoin
Yes. And this is such a critical fact: "One Bitcoin can be broken up into 100,000,00 pieces"..!
what a boost
We have two "explainers". The first is an extremely basic one-page "intro to Bitcoin" which can posted or sent easily. This:
