I recently obtained a tenure-track position.
Ticking off the requirements that referees look for when reviewing my application, I shamelessly referenced the ~science territory here on SN (which I have not been taking much care of in recent months, I must say). One referee must have liked it, as illustrated by a very specific sentence that made it into the final report.
Thank you, everyone who has been posting in ~science, with the occasional but necessary dose of skepticism towards the scientific institutions.
LOL AMAZING!
Real-world use case, I can't believe it!
Targeted use of keywords to trick LLMs to highlight this specific thing for the referee who definitely read my report in detail~~
Congratulations, and the fact that the ref took notice of the territory is impressive.
I should maybe delete this, under the unlikely assumption that he is lurking around here after creating an account and getting orange-pilled~~
Congratulations! You must be immensely relieved
Yes, indeed. Living in Singapore, you likely know what it feels like when you finally get ahead of the competition~~ even if for a brief amount of time until the next goal.
lol
hey if we don’t aim higher, we don’t grow
Congratulations! look forward to hearing more about your academic journey
Congratulations!!!
Thank you for your unwavering skepticism~~

No need to thank me! Good ~science are totally my thing. I should be thanking you for running this territory. Appreciate it!
