I recently obtained a tenure-track position.

Ticking off the requirements that referees look for when reviewing my application, I shamelessly referenced the ~science territory here on SN (which I have not been taking much care of in recent months, I must say). One referee must have liked it, as illustrated by a very specific sentence that made it into the final report.

Thank you, everyone who has been posting in ~science, with the occasional but necessary dose of skepticism towards the scientific institutions.

Yes, indeed. Living in Singapore, you likely know what it feels like when you finally get ahead of the competition~~ even if for a brief amount of time until the next goal.
