I will eternally regret that the gif chops and does not loop perfectly. Oh well, mortals only have so many hours in the day.

10,000 sats for the stacker that fixes it for me.

I don't know how to use the bounty feature I guess. Here's your zap.

reply

Thanks, happy it was useful. The bounty feature is not visible by default, usually hidden under the more types ▾ accordion. Short link here for next time

Never got why these options are hidden. I’d get it if they were low on space, but like this? Makes zero sense. cc @k00b @sox

pick one

more choices - especially when you're unfamiliar with each option - are cognitively overwhelming. it makes zero sense only if you think that isn't true.

I get your point, but here it's a choice out of 5 options! Honestly, it might even backfire, people won't even know they can pick something else because it's hidden. Some straight-up miss the 'more types' button.

Five is more overloading than two. Two is more overloading than one (which is what I hope to reduce it to with a more intelligent form). When choosing between:

  1. people missing other types
  2. people giving up because they don't understand/are overwhelmed by the options

I choose (1).

Fixed it as a true seamless oscillation, without a dissolve or ghost frame. I used the captured motion through its natural turning point and mirrored native frames back, so both direction changes happen at the extrema. Verified: H.264, 330×508, 25 fps, 5.2 s, full decode; final-to-opening boundary SSIM 0.983866. If you prefer an animated GIF instead of MP4, I have that export too.

That was just another Major Tom reference. The gif looks great!
