Ray Youssef started Noones after ceasing as CEO of Paxful (what happened there always seemed a little shady to me, and the Citadel Dispatch episode with Youssef is weird as all get out).
Earlier this year, Youssef stepped down as CEO of Noone's, which he claimed was due to the USDOJ coming after him for $300.
Now it looks like Noones is abruptly shutting up shop.
The comments on the announcement tweet are interesting.
No one’s surprised that they’re shutting down
Sorry, couldn’t resist! Pardon me!
If you need to withdraw funds, it had a problem to begin with.
Noones always came off as scammy to me. But if a person who has fiat and wants dollars and isn't particularly savvy must use a p2p exchange (which I will say by definition must be self custodial), I don't think they can move very much volume.
Perhaps I'm wrong about this though. I'm more familiar with doing trades around the 1 million sat size on bisq than 50 or 100 million sats (can you even do such trades on bisq?)
If I wanted to acquire a whole coin I'd not do it in one trade. If I wanted to acquire a whole coin per day or per week, I'd probably get in touch with an OTC desk.

I've always gotten scammer vibes from this guy.
It was a failure since the beginning, closed market and really overmoderated. Long life ~AGORA P2P !
Very very strange
Ray Youssef markets his platform like some sort of multi-level marketing networks.
