Sadly, I didn't find it that simple in the moment. They are grandparents. we were the only family with grandchildren at the time. They are pretty old and ailing. It was a horrible feeling.
My OP is getting at this problem: for the sake of germs, many people will sacrifice their ideals and tell others what to do.

I get it. I've had to write off both my parents because of their blockheadedness and unwillingness to just get along with family members. When they essentially attacked my wife and kids it was gloves off.

I didn't read the Pennsylvania case that Fundamentals is QTing, but as far as the government response to Covid went, it didn't seem to involve stopping anyone from pursuing medical interventions they saw fit.
I agree. This should generally be the standard with medical interventions.
During covid I was told by family members that I had to get a shot I did not want to get if I wanted to see them. How do you feel about that sort of thing?
