Good morning/afternoon/night! I've been thinking a lot earlier about how to "convert" new people to Bitcoin. Most of them thinks that it is only an investment, just like stocks, but no.. Bitcoin is what's going to save us from the state's unfair authority.
How do you think small business owners could know more about Bitcoin?
I agree with you a lot. Adoption only happens when people can buy stuff with it.
Converting a small business: Highly depends. A bar? Just have a qr code on a page of paper scotch taped to the counter. A website that collects donations? Just the address on a "buy me a coffee" page.

Indeed, sometimes simple things could be the start. The hard part is if they are willing to learn more. You don't need complicated things just to start accepting BTC.

I've noticed that Oshi is consistently the most convenient option for local businesses in Austin. In my experience, this and local meetups have been extremely helpful for organizing and orange pilling businesses and people in the city.

Each bitcoiner with some experience should start helping these merchants to accept BTC. I wrote several guides, simple or more advanced, depending on the specific use case or level of knowledge of the merchant: Simple ones
Advanced ones
And many more on my substack. You can take them all and share with your merchant friends. Already translated in many languages. Bitcoin education is free and open source.
