Out here doing the lord's work promoting BTCHEL's coooool(!) event in Helsinki next week (#1569352, #1560100).

Did an interview with Mr. Yakes the other day. He's so cool; I fanboi.

He had a couple of interesting observations there: about his book, which I shall try to write about in some capacity even though it's 5.5 years old; about bitcoin book publishing in general; about AI/security and self-custody; about financialization and the role of financial services in/on Bitcoin.

"Also, “there was a lot of dentists reaching out… that surprised me.”"

VERY worth coming to Helsinki to hang out with this illustrious crowd, eh #1569352

Two days. Three stages. Bitcoin adoption, mining, energy, freedom, and sovereignty. The published agenda https://agenda.btchel.com/ includes Adam Back, Francis Pouliot, Martti Malmi, Giacomo Zucco, Cory Klippsten, and Daniel Batten, tackling questions like: Will Bitcoin break the EU? Is Finland killing its mining industry? How is Bitcoin actually taking root across the Nordics?

My airbnb has a sauna... (and, I believe, a spare bed; free accom up for grabs for the schtackers)
