Ubuntu 22.04 New Features
Ubuntu now uses Wayland as default display server (yes, even for NVIDIA users); there’s new horizontal workspace switcher and a horizontal app launcher that lets you rearrange apps; a slew of new settings; Active Directory support; a new firewall backend; and more.
A good chunk of GNOME Shell 42 is included in Ubuntu 22.04, including an updated GNOME Shell desktop, its new screenshot tool, a backport of the new ‘Privacy’ panel in the Settings app, and the latest version of the Nautilus file manager.
A brand new screenshot UI is included,
Quick power mode switching, new ‘multitasking’ options in Settings, and low-power tweaks deigned to prolong battery life, plus a stack of the newer GNOME 42 features.
Fuck Ubuntu, long live Windows 3.11 (I still use DOS 6.22) :)
