This is awesome. I have a one pager shilling Bitcoin Fax somewhere, will dig for it and fax it through.
I'm excited by the circular Bitcoin>Fax>Nostr economy we are building for ourselves.

Thanks! But I cannot see it.
Which number did you sent to?
The current active one is +3904341851001
Just tried to fax it and worked.
Old notes have a not more working number, I realized later that was a bad idea to include it on a note!

Same number.
I got an error during transmission. Do you see failed faxes?

Unlucky I cannot see them.

Tried again, error during transmission.
Curious. It is a physical fax machine, dialup modem or online fax service?

I'm using an online fax service. Did you used a fax machine? Perhaps some glitches with tone/pulse config?
I have an old US Robotics handy, but today it's not easy to route a spare (and updatable) number to a physical RJ11 port.

Hey there, I posted about this on nostr, someone tried it to Norway where it should be 20 cents. It was closer to 6 dollars.
Perhaps there is a minimum charge?
Anyway this note includes a screenshot of the price that it was asking for for 1 page to Norway. (I blurred out the dude's fax number)

Couldn't find any mention of a minimum charge anywhere on the site tho.

I looked up your note and saw the image. I see the price chart on the link. Not sure why it went up so quick. That’s a crazy price though….I’d send an email and ask for assistance

Yo, Bitcoin Fax is my baby.
Pass me the number on that email address or on nostr and I will take a look.
The price page is a base price per page, though some numbers are special.
Some fax numbers allow you to charge a premium so people are discouraged to send faxes. Kind of like reverse charges.
Unfortunately it's not an exact science.

He replied:
"You can pass along the number. It's a cellular phone number. It might be the reason is expensive ?"
(Guess we know the reason why it was more expensive than expected.)

Thanks for the follow-up though, I'm trying to clear the uncertainty on nostr too. https://iris.to/note1le24ze4gd6zzlqj5q8gy8gd0q7c35stpsmrd3snqn434rnpxqerqzefk30
