Sorry fiatjaf, but this idea is dumb and useless. This is just a way to keep alive a dying fiat. FUCK FIAT! Let's push forward Bitcoin and LN (sats) and forget about stablecoin/fiat. Supporting this is like pumping morphine into a dying man with cancer. Let them DIE for fuck sake! Why you spend time and energy in this, when the future is Bitcoin and LN?

I agree, but this is a strict improvement over stablecoins of all sorts that people are promoting out there. You transact directly with sats and you see how many sats you have. It's much easier for people to start using this and then jump into having a sats balance later.
