Hi there ππ», currently thinking about things in the human experience that humans think to be constants of nature but are actually very much solvable:
Historically:
- We thought the black death and other plagues were a thing that just happens. We basically solved this.
- World hunger and major wars are obviously similar (unsure if people actually thought it was unsolvable)
- Reading old myths/stories people pretty much thought loosing stuff on open sea or lakes was irreversable. Just as a sidenote
Nowadays:
- instant communication. So funny how storytelling always has to work around this since we had millenia of culture that made story archs incompatible with this
- Hard money. I think people still can't fathom how money supply can be hard. Like, even Bitcoiners - have you ever sat down and thought about how faking money has been a thing for centuries and humanity just POOF β¨solved itβ¨. We solved if, wtf. Just one day to another, one moment the problem still existed and in the next second we solved it
Future:
- I think we will solve obesity. It is just an illness that we will solve
- Do you think we will solve recessions? It has been a thing forever now - like literally since biblical times. Will we one day just be POOF be rich enough to have solved it?
- Other things? What do you think we will just solve one day?
