It will be a glorious and inglorious day when media can be added. When I first joined I thought it would be great to have, but now I love the content that only relies on words. Much less spammy. 

FWIW my priority across those would be (top priority first):

1. mailing list sub
2. user profiles (at least show lightning address...)
3. media uploads (would those cost more sats? :) )
4. dms (I think it's good to get more users and nudge them into public posting first...)

We *definitely* plan on doing this. We've had a github issue open on it for a long time: https://github.com/stackernews/stacker.news/issues/56 ... My current mental list of priorities are:

1. media uploads
2. user profiles: profile images, tipjar, etc
3. dms

But these are tentative. I might want to add the mailing list sub somewhere in there.
