If the memepool is so back logged at the moment how would it fair under mass adoption.
How difficult would it be to get consens from the miners when they are rewarded more bitcoin due to the higher fees?
I'm not suggesting now is the time or anything just when it or if it does have to happen what will be the biggest obstacles?
I know we've had it out before with bitcoin cash, it wasn't needed then, but when/if it eventually is required?
Have you ever heard about Lightning Network ? That is how you scale Bitcoin. Bitcoin Onchain = is the vault, your "central bank", you use it exclusively to open/close LN channels. Onchain is not meant to be for payments, but for long time holding and settlements. Lightning Network (Bitcoin L2) = payment network, fast, instant, cheap, scalable.

Okay easy enough question, a little repetitive, but easy enough.
So at some point we're supposed to soft fork eltoo/covenants to get channel factories which happens to also enable ark: https://www.arkpill.me/, https://lists.linuxfoundation.org/pipermail/bitcoin-dev/2023-May/021694.html
For right now right now, if you're looking for a cheaper way to open channels, use payjoin
"If you wanted to fund several channels, say 10 channels, this would traditionally take 11 transactions but using a combined transaction, you can do this in a single transaction – saving 1060 vB."
Now imagine for a minute we took the smooth brain approach and increased the blocksize, congratulations, people can now put larger pictures and gifs and maybe even movies and the fees are the exact same as they were before, but now you've made it even more difficult for the average person to run a node and running a node is how a user asserts what Bitcoin is. If users didn't run nodes, coinbase's node would decide on behalf of everyone for example.
