It makes me feel weird and I like it.
It's soothing yet allows you to plausibly deny a need to be soothed because it's ironic.
It makes me feel like I'm a happily cubicle'd salaryman in the early 00's. On my lunches I walk the nearby mega-mall and eat really good sashimi from a food court. If we had smartphones I'd spend too much time on it but instead I read high brow dramatic fiction and curiously people watch. My life is still. My dreams are gone. It's how I want it.

just got this crazy idea for a bitcoin based currency which is called the leatherback. it basically bitcoin denominated notes that will circulate IRL. and they will be printed on leather. when you use them, you get any change back on the lightning network. this has potential imo.
