Why does GrapheneOS only avaible for Pixel (Google) products? I want to use it, but i don't want to give money to Google, neither i like Pixel products.

It boils down to extremely strict security requirements only Pixels provide currently:
  • Relockable bootloader with ability to specify custom signing keys
  • Hardware security module (Titan M/M2) that can be used by other operating systems. GrapheneOS relies heavily on hardware security.
  • Long term support of 5 years with consistent updates
  • Each hardware must have supported up to date firmware.
They focus heavily on security first and their developers are completely against making compromises. They do want to work with OEMs to make their own phone someday though

I'm not a Google fan either, but the Pixel is a pretty good phone-build quality, decent camera, and, best of all, you can unlock the bootloader. Most manufacturers are heading towards Apple style lockdown.

Reminds me the 2-3 weeks of probation to simply use Xiaomi phones with a different OS.

This is good news. Does anyone know if there is information about graphene on the new Pixel fold phone?
