I think you do want to prioritize larger channels. It doesn’t do a lot of good if you have a lot of Amal channels, since a small channel can’t route many transactions

In my experience, your best approach is a few big channels. Others here with more expertise will hopefully chime in.

Hi Most of the advice I had seen to date about channels was that you need loads of them. I see from this video ( https://youtu.be/05pBghUYJ1k )and a couple of articles I found, that really you need bigger channels because otherwise you risk getting the other nodes ignoring you, no matter how many channels you have.

We have a limited budget, will it be best to get a couple of big channels (4 million sats or so) or 10 little ones? We need both incoming and outgoing so, though not specifically a routing node, I guess we will need to be like that.
