I would never deter anyone from listening to what Balaji has to say but let's not forget that Balaji is the reason shitcoins and earn scams on coinbase became normalized. Let's also remember he was angling for a big government job in one of the healthcare agencies under Trump. His book is pretty much a "web 3" proponent's wet dream and the first person he had on his podcast was Vitalik, He is like 70 percent bitcoin maxi and 30% fiat maxi and shitcoiner.
That being said I pretty much listen to all his epic interviews and agree with a lot he has to say.
As I said, Ruby, I never heard of the guy before the bitcoin bet. You obviously know more about him than I do. I would say the episode was less than 10% about bitcoin. He made a very intelligent presentation, but you present some good reasons why people might choose to dismiss him.

I am not saying dismiss him I am just suggesting a nuanced approach to Balaji. He is a smart guy and I agree with a lot of what he says.
