Just wanted to know if you try and succeed in disconnecting from BTC over the weekend?
I try to but not always can deal with the FOMO, so I have the need my Twitter, stacker.news and the price of btc.
Whats your strategy?
Its very hard to disconnect.
For me BTC is every where and I can related BTC to many things in normal day.
reply
Disconnect from this? Why? I am searching for bitcoiners where I am to build a social community with some bright minded people in real life.

I used to watch the price like a hawk. It faded over time for me. I don’t really disconnect in general though, since stacker news is the only “social media” platform I use
reply
I don't know what you mean by disconnect.
If price, I am already disconnected from the price. I really don't care that much. I have set a ladder of buys in case prices drops a lot; otherwise just continue to stack slowly.
Otherwise I just like hanging out with Bitcoiners because they are level headed.

If you are holding fiat you are short Bitcoin

Likewise, I'm not actively seeking breaking news and worrying about price fluctuations already so during the weekend it's just like any other day.
BTC is always on the brain but I'm in it for the long term and i'm just excited to see what happens in the next decade or so

It's essential to remember that cryptocurrency trading can be volatile and emotionally challenging. It's crucial to have a well-defined strategy and risk management plan to deal with FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and make informed decisions. Some traders set specific time frames for checking prices, limit their exposure to social media, or use tools to manage their emotions while trading. Remember that each individual's strategy should align with their risk tolerance and long-term goals.

what's a weekend?
reply
Yeah, I do, although not uniquely because it is Bitcoin but more because you need to disconnect from society at large sometimes. Go outside, camp somewhere with no cell service, etc. Try taking a few days or even a week without looking at social media or the news. Trust me, you will thank yourself. And don't worry too much if you miss out on news or price changes. If you self-custody then the sats will still be there when you boot back up. Take time to connect to the real world.

I see it in all walks of life everywhere pretty hard to disconnect it opens your eyes to what's really going on

Why would I disconnect from money?
If you mean looking at the price graph, then I don't even remember the last time I checked the fiat price of BTC.

Actually btc is everywhere and its kind of hard to avoid its news or not even hearing about it for once, but personally yeah i don't deal with btc pver the weekends cause i feel there is just so much going on and just hard for ke to concentrate and take it piece by piece, well i would only download the things i wanted and then disconect the wifi sometimes. And let me tell you it is hard but it is the best plan. Thanks for providing the opportunity to share my humble opinion on this one :)
