I think as soon the user interface/experience gets better as soon we reach more people.
I'm not a dev coder but I can do a lot of things alone, like ro build a HTML website + css, build a server using free ready-code templates, build ecommerces, marketing it, build NFT ecosystem, etc, etc. Even with this little experience (in comparison wih a real dev coder) I felt like a n00b when I get to Nostr (I'm here just about 1-2 months).
So there is a lack of documentation and tutorial, but I'm sure this will happen with time.
I like to use MetaMask as an example. In the beginning, to transfer ETH from a wallet to another you had to manually put gas GWEI numbers on the following fileds: Gas Limit, Max priority Fee and Max Fee. If you put the wrong number (that is not the numbers of te market moment) you just get a fail transaction. So I remember I lost some money doing tests and learning. There was a lack of tutorial that time the same way is hapenning with Nostr today. Only researching in Reddit forums I could find some tips to fix the transactions problems + courage to not lose more money.
Now when I make a transfer on MetaMask are there more automatic decisions like: Market price, Lowwe price and Advanced (the old way). So today is easer to do transfer from their application. And you see a lot of n00b people finding a way to use it and being succeed.
I'm using ETH as an example (even knowing the code estructure is completly different) because I think the same will happen with Nostr. People will learn. More tutos will show up. Technology and user interface/experience will improve.
That's it.
Let's build! Let's feedback. Let's FG!
I'm using Amethyst... I like the UI, there's definitively some bugs that happens from time to time indeed affects UX. But I really like the job Vitor Pamplona is doing with Amethyst.
I started with with Nostr about the same time as you... 1-2 months. Since day one I really noticed it is something new with huge potential.
Since, I'm discovering a whole new level of community based on Bitcoin. (that's how I discovered stacker.news... )

Yes. I like Nostr a lot. There are some bugs... but it's normal even more from a open source protocol. As I am a Linux user I'm used to deal with bugs and new stuffs.
I use more web clint I like very much Primal and Iris. Primal is working fine, but some times get bugs, whn buggy I use Iris. But I like boths progresses.

I've tried Primal, I've liked the UI but I couldn't find where to login... So, I'm sticking with Snort.Social but I feel somewhat uncomfortable.
Never tried Iris, I'm going to check it out...

That 's the difference. If you are using Alby to login (like me), just change the account in the Alby App in browser (I have 4 because each account is a project) then i just refresh the page. When I refresh the page I force the login. So every time I change user in Alby I only need to refresh page in Primal to force the login. It is faster than go to Setting in Iris and click "switch account".
Yesterday I got a bug in Primal that i coudan't login because Alby windows was not showing up. Then I found I clicked in "block Primal button" by mistake in one of these Alby windows Authorization ask. SO I just has to Delete Primal in Alby than reconnected it again So everything back to normal.

Thanks for the tip, I already had seen Alby but never downloaded... I'll check it out.

I'm curious. What programa do you use to login to Nostr?
reply
Amethyst (Android) and Snort Social (Desktop)

Oh ok. You can use this as a guide: https://nostr.how/en/guides/iris
But now I'm curious how to login Primal without Alby. I never thought about that . XD
