Absolutely love that I can use a Lightning wallet for authentication to login!
Login with Lightning has so much potential!
Very cool!
Until you realise how few services use it. Stacker.news is definitely a trailblazer. The other ability is to send and receive sats from your stacker.news wallet via email address. 🤯 @k00b makes it appear so effortless.

Is that true? I need a pie chart.
(I personally tried to do it with BlueWallet, was to dumb to figure it out and fell back to email)

Another way to do it is to log in to coinos.io and paste the LNURL login link to Send (bottom right).
Even anonymous login (satoshi-something) can be used, just keep in mind you may want to log in to the same coinos account later in order to LN-login to stacker.news as the same user.

You need to either run your own lightning node or have a lightning enabled wallet such as Breez or Phoenix to access the magic of lnurl auth

With that you can send sats to any user here with <username>@stacker.news, mine for example would be nullama@stacker.news
@k00b has made(and continues to make) an amazing website here.

At @Alby we're also big fans of it and how easy it is to use. No need to remember (or rather save) yet another password and backup happens automatically with your lightning keys.
What is the best thing about lightning login for you?

I still don’t fully understand what @Alby is or how I would use it. It’s a browser extension, for chrome browsers (not Safari 😢) that does what? Allows me to use Lightning for login on websites that support it? Or to purchase things with Lightning somehow?
Would appreciate it if you could explain it to me.

I am just a lightning noob, but for me it is mostly just that it’s possible to use Lightning for login. That blew my mind. And like you said one less password to manage. Love that fact that it’s tied to a payment network too and the best payment network the works has every seen. So much potential!

LNauth is sweet indeed, only other service ive seen that utilizes this is lnmarkets

coinos.io also uses it, both that you can LNauth from coinos wallet and you can also LNauth login into coinos wallet using your other wallet.
I first logged in with alby on desktop. Exported the wallet and wanted to login with bluewallet on mobile but on mobile a different account with zero balance is logged in. Any ideas why?
