Hey! I would like to start using nostr. I've read a bit about it (what it is, how it works, etc). Do you have any advice for newbies? Recommended clients, what to do, what not to do, etc.

Download Alby ( a web plugin )
Load your nostr key there
Choose any clients you like to log in with Extension (NIP-07) eg, snort.social, Prime

The rule is never to copy and paste your private key and have at least one backup.

You can also set up your NIP-05 verification with Alby! :) And please note, when pasting your private key to our browser extension, it doesn't leave your machine - the extension manages signing events locally :)

Find a client and crack on - I use amethyst on android, apparently damus is the best for iOS and there's a ton of web apps. Same rules apply reg private keys as in bitcoin, don't go giving them away

What about Plebstr: https://plebstr.com/ client for Nostr. I used Twitoshi for Twitter before and it was a great experience but haven´t tried the Plebstr yet. Does anyone know if it good app?
