- return the OP's favor and help them learn something even if it's just by asking a thoughtful question

Totally agree. I really try to engage with thought provoking questions on posts that catch my interest. That, or maybe ask a stupid question that I'm sure I'm not the only one to have.
PS: As I'm typing this, the lag in the textarea is pretty bad. Perhaps it's due to this item having so many comments?

It shouldn't be related to comments at all. There must be something triggering a rerender. I'm not experiencing it on brave.
In the past this has happened due to preview rendering invisibly.

I tried it on a different post with fewer comments and didn't see any issues. Hmm 🤔

Maybe it's causing the comment tree to rerender on every character

That’s what it felt like but I couldn’t run the profiler on the prod build so I’ll probably try to recreate locally

I changed some of the markdown editor code recently. Actually we changed that in quite a few ways last release. That's the only thing that makes sense as the cause imo

- I wish more bitcoin and LN developers could be more active on SN and engage in those more technical topics more often. I wish we have here Rene Pickhardt. His insights about LN are truly amazing.
- Is still too much noise on SN and interesting topics could be lost in the vast ocean of garbage links and twitts. I know, will take time until bots and spammers will slow down.
