@k00b can you implement polls on SN?
I am a node operator and trying to understand how normal LN users are doing their payment so I can adjust my node in a better way to serve them fast, cheap (almost 0) and reliable payments.
  1. When you do LN payment for MORE than 500k sats, are you using MPP (multi-part payment) on your LN wallet?
  2. When you do LN payment for LESS than 500k sats, are you using MPP (multi-part payment) on your LN wallet?
  3. When you do LN payment for LESS than 100k sats, are you using MPP (multi-part payment) on your LN wallet?
  4. When you do LN payment for LESS than 50k sats, are you using MPP (multi-part payment) on your LN wallet?
  5. Are you using MPP for all your LN payments, or your wallet is doing that by default?

My wallets, lntxbot and SBW, do MPP by default.

I have done what feels like 10000 Lightning payments so far but 0 of them were MPP.

But you have mostly low amounts, below 50k for example. Right?

Yes, mostly but there are also bigger payments (~1M). I personally try to avoid Lightning for payments above 500k though.

next time, please try MPP. Not for less than 30k. Under 30k are all ok.
