What do you think, cowboys? Can we get Michael Saylor on Stacker News for an AMA?
Let’s see what happens if we all work together with some likes and retweets…

This will be the best thing for Stacker News if it happens, so it needs to happen.

I think ard many others more important that should come to SN.
Saylor is just Bitcoun marketing department but will not help in any way real adoption. The fact that he buys and only hold BTC it doesn't mean he want people to use bitcoin as money.
He literally said in one of his old interviews: I will buh and hold as much BTC I can and use it as collateral for lending more fiat.
Don't be fooled by his nice words about bitcoin. Is a trap. He's a total fiat maxi.
Let me know when he will start paying his MS employees in btc and you see him buying groceries with btc. Until then... he's just a useful marketing tool.

Hodling bitcoin is using it, nobody needs your approval or permission on how to use bitcoin "the right way".

Crapgpt would not have much to offer lol

I expect at least one @nemo ism, just so Saylor feels like one of the gang. I also hope @DarthCoin doesn't feel inhibited.

What should I ask a fiat maxi like Saylor?
reply
You can start right there. Ask him why he's a fiat maxi.

Listen from this point, of this interview https://youtu.be/57B0XMHmBb0?t=744
He literally said: "I will hold BTC and will create a stablecoin backed by that BTC and lend it to you". Same as banksters did centuries ago with gold....
reply
He comes from the world of finance /Wall Street. A big part of his imagined bitcoin world will be borrowing off of your bitcoin as collateral so you don't have to sell it. He believes in debt.
reply
He believes in debt.
Exactly that. And debt means fiat world.
reply
You're right to the extent that he believes that, at least in the U.S ., the dollar will continue to exist as the U.S. currency along side bitcoin.
