Just came across the twitter account run by his fiancé. I think his prison sentence is messed up unless he actually hired a hitman.
Curious to hear other peoples thoughts.
It is so messed up. The more you look into his case, the judge, the politicians, and the FBI the more messed up it is. There are MANY people that have actually directly harmed humans, little kids that will never be locked up as long as Ross. He was made an example. The state is evil. This is what it does when you threaten it.
reply
Even if he hired a hitman it's so messed up. Who was harmed by Ross? The state is evil.
reply
Well as far as I understand it he thought he had had somebody murdered, which is messed up in anybody’s book.
Yes, the, frankly bonkers, American system allows entrapment i.e. he wouldn’t have committed the “crime” if the FBI agents hadn’t led him to it.
But he still thought he had had somebody murdered… which I can’t quite get past.
What am I missing?
reply
Who was harmed by Ross?
reply
You ever resort to murder because somebody was blackmailing you? You think that is a legitimate response?
Who was harmed? It’s like saying that because a defendant shot with intent to kill but missed - “who was harmed, your honour?”.
Not saying that the Government is not at fault, like I said, I find it wild that it can concoct a crime to entrap one of its own citizens. Completely insane and liable to corruption.
Also not saying his sentence is not seemingly over-long either, it does seem disproportionate.
But we know this guy is capable of murder so I find it strange that he is canonized to such a degree.
reply
Hey I’m not saying Ross was a saint. I’m certainly not canonizing him. Yes, he went down some bad paths and did wrong. But the question remains. Who was harmed by Ross?
2 life sentences when a victim is not identifiable is, as the OP stated, so messed up.
reply
Folks that overdosed, or were inadvertently given the drugs, or children who consumed the parent’s drugs were harmed
reply
Total BS. He should be free.

Ross was used as a patsy. From the beginning till the end. Because the gov wanted to hit hard Bitcoin after Wikileakes announced they start accepting Bitcoin. The 3 letters agencies, were the original creators of Silk Road. They did so many times these kind of "strategies" and fool people. Then came Ross and they let him do its things until they consider it that is enough. Of course they had control over SR all the time. That's why they put him in jail for life, so he cannot reveal the truth.
Watch closer all the documentaries and videos about the case, here is a list I put together.

Here’s the Secret Silk Road Journal From the Laptop of Ross Ulbricht

Drug kingpin goes to prison, no real loss there. This triggers the fuck out of people, but why are these same people not defending peoples rights to sell drugs on the street corner too?
You guys simultaneously exhault this guy and then shame Seattle for legalizing drugs and then reducing it to a "lib shithole"
Make your minds up.
reply
Neither Ross or the guy selling drugs on street corner deserve anywhere near the sentence that he got.
reply
There's a difference between people anonymously buying drugs for personal consumption, and having a shitty government open up mass distribution without any consequence because you want to outprogressifag the other progressifags.
Don't be fucking daft.

I would suggest the Olympics but Mental Gymnastics is not a category you can participate in. That is very unfortunate for you. Maybe next time bud.
