I am planning on adding a little explainer page to my eshop about Bitcoin, so if a customer wonders what this payment method is - it could help them understand. Note, this is meant to be very down to earth talking to a non-tech person who does not understand bitcoin, so I try to stay away from terms like p2p, blockchain, mempools etc. ;).
Any feedback/suggestions welcomed:

Welcome to Bitcoin and Lightning Network

Are you new to the world of digital money? We accept two cool ways to pay: Bitcoin and Bitcoin via the Lightning Network. But what are they, and why should you care? Let's make it simple.

What is Bitcoin?

Think of Bitcoin as digital cash. It's like having money on your phone or computer that you can use to buy things online. It's safe, and it doesn't need a bank.

What is the Lightning Network?

The Lightning Network makes Bitcoin even faster and cheaper. It's like a superhighway for your digital money, so you can pay for things in a flash.

Why Use Bitcoin and Lightning?

  • Speedy Payments: Bitcoin via Lightning is lightning-fast, like sending a text message.
  • Lower Costs: It's often cheaper than other ways of paying.
  • Your Money, Your Way: Your payments are private and secure, and you control your money.
  • Pay Anywhere: You can use Bitcoin and Lightning anywhere, from anywhere.
  • Save: Best of all, you get a discount when you use it in our shop.

Getting Started with Bitcoin

To use Bitcoin, you need to get some first. Here's how:
  • Buy It: You can buy Bitcoin from cryptocurrency exchanges using regular money, just like you would buy anything else.
  • Earn It: Some people and businesses pay in Bitcoin for their services. You can earn Bitcoin as payment.
  • Receive It: If you have a friend who already has Bitcoin, they can send some to your digital wallet.
After you have acquired some Bitcoin, just place an order in the shop and you will receive instructions on how to proceed with the payment.
If you want to go a bit further and would like to have an ultimate control over your Bitcoin, you should get a digital wallet on your phone or computer. It's like your own digital piggy bank. For Lightning payments, you'll need a Lightning wallet that can do the speedy stuff.
