Am I the only one here happy about being able to DCA at $30K rather than at $60K?

If the US does go into a recession, then this could be a decade long bear market if not worse for bitcoin, being a highly speculative asset. (Unless adoption from the rest of the world really changes things.)

A bad enough recession could eventually decouple it.

Whole world is going into or is already in recession. It seems that the US fares better than the rest of the world. This could be the recession that ends all fiat currencies, and it's time for bitcoin to shine.

in a recession, cash and commodities are pretty much king. I don't see bitcoin being invested much until it can generate wealth in some way other than number goes up.

Best case scenario: This is a temporary setback and the price continues to rise
Worst case scenario: 5 to 10 years of recession and really cheap sats to stack. Faith in the Fed and the dollar is shaken even more. Adoption increases. Price goes back up.
Either way I'm okay with it.

With candles it really depends how you select your start times... there would easily be at least 2 green candles if you would start counting on a different datetime (e.g. start on Wednesdays).
My point is don't read too much into numbers and colors of candles...

This cycle definitely seems different to the previous 2. Hopefully we see a decoupling from equities.
