the only moment I truly remember is 9/11. Which is probably similar for a lot of people here. I was walking from first period to second when the kids in front of me were talking about hearing about a plane crash in NYC. When I got to class the world was different. I was at a military boarding school with people from all over the world.

Yeah this. I was in NY and saw the 2nd plane go into the towers. Visceral.

9/11, and I'll always remember where I was when my employer announced it was shutting down for COVID.
