I'd like to make SN my only social network for blogging/posting and I want to convince friends to join and post here (even my nocoiner friends), but the limitation on bitcoin/nostr/tech/meta/jobs posting subs doesn't leave room for posting things like art, jokes, random memes, etc.

I have a friend who has been hooked on the steem/hive posting world for a long time and I don't see him having a place to post his type of content on SN, so it's a tough sell to get him to even check it out.

What do you all think about the future of expanding SN to have more subs (stacks?)--should this stay a tech related bitcoin/nostr community or expand into all things social?

Personally, if this had even just a "general" sub, I'd probably ditch posting to other networks entirely and just post here... but maybe since this is stacker "news"--that kind of content just doesn't really belong here and should stay on nostr... thoughts?
