LNURL login for Stacker News from Node vs Zeus

I have recently connected Zeus app to my self hosted node.

I am able to see channels and balances. So it is successfully connected.

When using Zeus to login into Stacker.News via LNURL it associates me with a new account in SN

Is there a way to have Zeus use node to complete LNurl so I can sign into Stacker News via Zeus?

  1. I do not like to use my real LN nodes or LN wallets (with funds and shit) to login into LN-auth services.
  2. For SN I used in the past Alby (is just a decoy account and handy to login in browser). But I had the same issue like you and then I simply re-link it and worked.
  3. Now I use nostr login and as backup another method, in case it fails.
  4. I re-linked another LN-auth from another empty wallet, and keep it as backup too.

I think in your case the trick is to re-link with a new LN-auth code.
So try first to link your SN account with another method and once you login correctly with that one, un-link your Zeus and link it with a new LN-auth code (I suggest to not use your regular node).

Zeus is using different login than TH. If you started with one app, keep using the same.

Darth is right. Many of these apps use subtly different linking key derivations unfortunately.

When you have discrepancies like this, it's best to reach out to the devs of the wallets.

Can you log to your account
delink lightning (while having ie nostr linked)
link lightning again with new zeus?

I imagine I could.

However I don't want to lose my thunderhub login ability to SN.

I was under the wrong impression that Zeus would let me login the same as if from ThunderHub. Koob and Darth re-Educated me.
