Tired of the usual round of podcasts, books and Bitcoin Magazine etc I joined SN as a way to learn more and engage with some of the current arguments swirling around the BTC-verse. I was struck by the range of opinions held, the depth of conviction and the patience to explain and discuss. That combined with a mistrust of shitcoiners and AI ... I had found a home.

I thought i could write a few articles about the future role BTC may play on the wider world, thought experiments on its impact on the film industry, publishing and other creative arts maybe. Instead I was received by an audience who really aren't that interested in what Bitcoin would do to the current system, but rather what would be created by, and flow from, Bitcoin. That really warped my assumptions, and i started to share some of my creative endeavours, I even went back to some long form writing. I was able to share observations, joke around and even raise some sats for a worthy cause.
