We don't have pets at home, but we had been feeding these 2 neighbourhood crows for the past several months. They come regularly in the morning and the afternoon to get their peanut snacks. They have become protective of our home and had kill 2 rats for us already.

I used to feed ravens like clockwork up a local hill every Sunday morning for years. They'd do a barrel roll overhead and fly upside down to thank me.
I moved - they live long and have great memories...

Miniature doberman. She is adopted and round about 5 yrs old. Very playfully and sceptic when it comes to eating. And stuck to me like glue😅🤦🏻♂️
